Three Officer Promotions Announced

Today, Publix Super Markets CEO Kevin Murphy announced the retirement plan of Vice President of Internal Audit Linda Hall after 40 years of dedicated service and the promotion of three officers, effective Jan. 1, 2026.

Hall, 65, has announced her decision to retire at the end of this year. Hall began her career in 1985 as a data processing auditor. She was promoted to internal audit manager in 1990 and then to director of internal audit in 1992. She has been in her current role since 2002.

“Linda’s commitment to improving our processes and ensuring our operations are efficient has made a significant impact on our business,” said Murphy. “We are thankful for her years of dedicated service and wish her all the best in her retirement.”

Hall is looking forward to spending more time with family and friends, and traveling.

With Hall’s retirement, Publix is pleased to announce the promotion of Meghan Vazquez to vice president of internal audit. Vazquez, 44, began her Publix career in 1997 as a front service clerk in Valrico, Florida.
